Stylized mini-docs are a rite of passage for any filmmaker, don’t you think? So with some downtime between projects, I connected with LA painter Blue The Great - known for his collabs with TDE and Jordan Brand - and asked to document his day-to-day. The intention was purely to capture a portrait of a modern artist who did it all himself - from taking commissions to picking up his supplies to creating across different mediums. We shot at Blue’s home and studio over two days and Highsnobiety was kind enough to premiere the film.
