Epicore Biosystems was spun out from Northwestern University's Querrey Simpson Institute for Bioelectronics, and in its early years made advancements in sweat-tracking and hydration that led to partnerships with Gatorade and Chevron. In anticipation of launching its new biowearable tracker – Connected Hydration – Epicore needed a refresh of its branding, messaging and website.
Over a six-month engagement, we deep-dived into the worlds of science, sweat and technology to execute an overhaul of the Epicore brand; simplifying their offering without compromising its significance. We proposed a streamlined logo, as well as refined messaging and a sleek website that was built for occupational therapists and consumers alike.
Epicore's new branding and website launched just in time for the arrival of its flagship product, drawing viewers from coordinated PR and marketing initiatives. Doing so provided an intuitive and informative platform for existing users and partners, while amplifying the brand’s ethos, tone of voice and visual language to a new audience of potential consumers and investors.
